Dušan Marko

Dive into the musical world of Dušan Marko, a multi-talented Slovak artist born on December 16th, 1986, in Svidník. His musical journey began at the tender age of six when he first picked up the violin.

At the age of ten, Dušan’s passion led him to the stage, where he participated in the musical ‘Oliver Twist.’ A year later, he recorded his initial musical works, which found their home on the CD ‘The Boogyeman.’

At fourteen, Dušan embarked on a new musical adventure, dedicating his time and energy to mastering the acoustic and rock guitar. Two years later, he founded his first progressive rock band, Amatae Adea.

In 2005, Dušan successfully completed his eight-year-form studies with a bachelor’s degree at the bilingual high school Jan Amos Komensky Lutheran Grammar School in Košice, Slovakia. In the same year, his vocal talents shone through as he was recognized among the top 40 singers in the “Slovak Idol” competition.

In 2006, Dušan decided to make Prague his musical haven. There, he pursued his musical education, first at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, specializing in musical singing performance. He continued to expand his horizons by studying jazz singing performance at the Higher Specialised Art School of Jaroslav Ježek, proudly graduating in 2011.

In 2015, Dušan became an integral part of the musical ensemble known as ‘Colorful People.’ His contributions as a singer and musician have been an ongoing testament to his passion for music, a journey that continues to this day.

In 2017, Dušan took on a new role as the frontman of the Czech band ‘Support Lesbiens,’ making waves in the music scene. He has also been a vital part of the ‘Michael Jackson Symphony’ project since 2017, captivating audiences across the Czech Republic with symphonic orchestras as his musical companions.
